It’s that time of year again! The Adderley School Summer Fair Sunday July 2nd at 2pm. Lots to see and do including the Fun Family Dog Show, Junior Bake Off, Bouncy Castle and more.
Every year the Village Lunch provides great food and a great opportunity to meet new people from the village. Today (Sunday 25th) was no exception. A full village hall and an army of willing volunteers provided an excellent meal with superb puds (only supports weight loss as part of a calorie controlled diet). A big thank you to the volunteers. A reminder to check the Events Calendar to see what’s on next. A few pictures below to show you what you missed if you didn’t make it this time.

At last night’s Parish Council it was Dog Poo (again) that took up some of the agenda. The vast majority of dog owners in Adderley are responsible owners. In fact it would seem that the vast majority of dog owners who visit Adderley are also responsible owners. There is always the exception and it’s those people to whom we are addressing our efforts.
On the way home from the meeting last night one of the councillors spotted this recent addition to the footpath outside the bowling club:
There is an informative piece on Pets4Homes with some ideas but it does highlight the fact that leaving your dog’s poo in the street is actually illegal.
