Annual Parish Meeting

You are invited to

ADDERLEY VILLAGE HALL

on

WEDNESDAY 30th MAY 2018 At 8 pm

Lots goes on behind the scenes to help to make Adderley the place it is. You should attend this meeting for a number of reasons.

You can learn more about that’s going on in support of:

  • Improved mobile telephone signal (possible representative from EE to answer questions)
  • Improved speed awareness and A529 road improvements (this affects everybody)
  • Joint Neighbourhood Plan, with Moreton Say and Norton in Hales (setting our own planning rules)
  • The future of the Village Hall, including a possible re-build (your input is important)

You can have a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit plus the bar will be open for soft drinks or something a little more robust.

There are opportunities to become involved in these important issues and to help to set the agenda for the next year. We look forwards to seeing you there.

It’s a Coffee Morning on Friday

This coming Friday, 27th April, we have a coffee morning at the village hall.

These well attended monthly get togethers have become a firm favourite with Adderley villagers.

£1.50 gets you coffee, cake and a good natter. It’s children friendly so bring them along and take time out with friends.

A Great Night On Saturday

Saturday Night saw a mega 80 guests turn out for the Curry Club.

The Village Hall was full and minds were challenged by Phil’s fiendishly clever quiz while stomachs were filled with a selection of 10 different curries prepared and served, together with a drink or two from the bar, by those wonderful volunteers from the village. The winning table (by a long way) hailed from Adderley Barns but a good time was had by all.
