Following the excellent response to the community survey we continue to progress with the redevelopment project.
IT’S HAPPENING
We have taken on board a number of very constructive points, some long term regarding the plans, and some which we can act on immediately
WE’RE LISTENING
Firstly, we have developed an Adderley Community WhatsApp.
It is a “one direction” WhatsApp which will allow us to send messages about anything going on in the village and important updates on all projects.
It does not allow return of conversation, so will not be full of chat, just interesting and appropriate community messages straight to your phone.
IT’S BRILLIANT
It is facilitated by using a QR code, which means we do not need to retain any mobile numbers, so there are no GDPR issues to be concerned about.
IT’S SAFE
Secondly, we are organising regular events in the village, for example weekly quizzes, monthly coffee mornings and a village get together on 13th September.
IT’S EXCITING
All information will be sent in a very simple message on the Adderley Village Community WhatsApp, so follow the QR code to register.
IT’S EASY
The actual redevelopment is in the stage of creating a business plan and investigating funding. We need to bring together a small group of people to represent all parts of the community.
