ADDERLEY VILLAGE HALL 2026 AND BEYOND

In 2025 we distributed a questionnaire throughout the Adderley parish to determine thoughts regarding the redevelopment of the Village Hall and Bowling Pavilion.

Following the excellent response to the questionnaire, and valuable feedback from the community meeting, we have now progressed to the next phase of the redevelopment project.

We have appointed an architect, who has drawn provisional plans and produced a 3D image of the hall and pavilion.

The plans will be presented at the AGM to allow residents to see the latest ideas and to give further feedback.

After the meeting we would like to be able to progress to final plans.

We will then apply for planning permission and seek essential grant funding. Such funding is only available if there is a proven demand from the community, which means that any redevelopment will enhance the facilities for residents.

WE NEED YOUR HELP…..PLEASE ATTEND THE AGM

We also welcome anybody who may be interested in joining the committee to ensure the ongoing success of the Village Hall.

But you don’t have to be a committee member to get involved in village life. There are a number ways to contribute to the village community, many hands make light work, so please do not wait to be asked. If you would like to help, however small the input may seem, we would welcome your involvement. If you would like more information, please ring…..

Crazy Bowls Cancelled!

Oh No! It’s bad new for dogs with short legs and family bowlers. Such awful weather from Storm Antoni that we’re having to cancel the Crazy bowls. While the hard core bowlers might don their waterproofs and get out there for those of us with flip flops, shorts and a kiss me quick hat this is not the weather for playing bowls and wellies aren’t allowed.

We’re hoping to re-organise for sometime in September when the weather is a lot more forgiving. We’re sorry but feel that people would prefer to be dry and not have to eat soggy burgers.

Hoping to see everybody in September, until then stay dry.
