It’s been a while since we had some pictures sent in but Ken Greetham has sent in a couple of great ones.

Adderley Heritage Trail received £46,000 of Heritage Lottery Funding to create a trail around the historic locations in the village and to provide a home for the Geoff Butter Collection of historical documents.

While we have been working quietly away in the background sorting through the collection, developing a website, working with the Shropshire Archive and building a project with Adderley School and Keele University we haven’t been able to officially get the project off the ground. 

We are holding a launch event on Sunday, 16th April in Adderley Village Hall at 11:30. Details will be dropping through letter boxes but we want you to save the date so that you can come along and we can tell you all about this exciting project.

The last time we all got together it was just amazing. Lot’s of chat, lots of smiles and lots of cake Did you know cake is a food group? Yes, and it’s also one of your five a day – who knew?

The Market Drayton Support Group in support of Shropshire Hospice are hosting a Hot Supper at:

Adderley Village Hall on Friday March 24th 2023, 7:30 pm.

There will be a Guest Speaker: Mr Tullis Mason FRAgS HonD Tech who is the Managing Director of Stallion AI Services Ltd and the Founder and Chair of Nature’s Safe.
