Last Coffee Morning of the year this Saturday at Adderley Village Hall.
£2.50 gets you tea/coffee and home made cake.
Come and tell us how you feel the coffee mornings have gone and whether you would like to see them continue next year. It will be great to see everyone just one more time before we get into the festive season.
The canal through Adderley is a great village asset . It provides us with amazing open space to walk and we all know that walking is mindful and good for our mental health.
So when the Canal and River Trust undertakes restoration and maintenance work it benefits all of us.
So the work underway at Adderley Lock 2 is a significant piece of work. If you want to take a look at the inner workings of these historic locks it’s worth a wonder down to take a look see.
The final numbers are on their way to Nomad and ticket sales are now closed.
Thank you to everybody who has bought tickets, it’s going to be a great night. Look forwards to seeing everybody for a brilliant wine tasting with charcuterie.
Yes, its that time of year, and Santa will be in Adderley to help us with the Christmas Light Switch on on Friday 8th December. Be there for 6.30 to browse the stalls and the switch on will be at 7.00pm
There will be lots going on, with a variety of lovely artisan stalls, a Teddy Tombola, Candy Floss, activities for the children and Santa will be in his grotto again this year to hear what you want for Christmas. There will be Mortzarella oven fired pizzas, mince pies, mulled wine and tea and coffee. What more could a soul want? Come and join us and get festive!
There will be a cuppa with a copper session in Morrison Café Market Drayton on Wednesday 1st November 2023 at 10am until midday. Please come down to meet your Safer Neighbourhood Team and discuss any issues you might have. Tea and Coffee will be provided. We look forward to meeting you.

Halloween is fast approaching. Whilst this may be fun for most of us, it can cause others concern and anxiety. We need to ensure that everyone remains safe.
We have put together some advice for trick or treating,.
* Adults should always accompany children when trick or treating.
* Young people should never go trick or treating alone.
* Do not knock on the doors of strangers – only go to people you know.
* Never go into a stranger’s house.
* Always keep to well-lit areas. Wear bright clothing and always carry a torch. Remember road safety. * Unless pre-arranged, do not visit elderly members of the community.
* Be careful not to frighten vulnerable people.
* Keep your tricks within the law – anything that results in damage is an offence and will be dealt with as such.
* Please do not knock on doors where there is a ‘No trick or treat sign’.
Your Safer Neighbourhood Policing team will be on patrol on 31st, and in the days before and after. We will be ensuring that everyone has a enjoyable and safe evening.
