A Great Crowd Made For A Great Night

Saturday’s Ceilidh with the Cuckoo Ale Band was a great night. Lovely music from the band and some excellent calling by Bev Langton meant that everybody could have a go whether they knew what they were doing or not.

As always a BIG thank you to the volunteers in the kitchen for lovely pie and mushy peas and the volunteer bar tenders who kept us  topped up for the duration. As always, Carol Gadd who was the face at the door to make us all welcome.

See for yourself and make a note in your diary for next year.

Annual Parish Meeting

You are invited to

ADDERLEY VILLAGE HALL

on

WEDNESDAY 30th MAY 2018 At 8 pm

Lots goes on behind the scenes to help to make Adderley the place it is. You should attend this meeting for a number of reasons.

You can learn more about that’s going on in support of:

  • Improved mobile telephone signal (possible representative from EE to answer questions)
  • Improved speed awareness and A529 road improvements (this affects everybody)
  • Joint Neighbourhood Plan, with Moreton Say and Norton in Hales (setting our own planning rules)
  • The future of the Village Hall, including a possible re-build (your input is important)

You can have a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit plus the bar will be open for soft drinks or something a little more robust.

There are opportunities to become involved in these important issues and to help to set the agenda for the next year. We look forwards to seeing you there.
