We need to recruit a Part-Time, self employed cleaner for the Village Hall

This would be for 6-8 hours a week which would be flexible and at times may require weekend work. Working under the direction of the Halls Maintenance Trustee.

The duties are to mop, dust and hoover all surfaces. Clean and maintain the internal and external toilets, clean ovens as required and generally keep the Hall and outside toilet in a clean and good order.

Christingle!

You know Christmas is on its way when the first Advent candle is lit.

This Sunday we will be holding a Christingle service at Adderley church. The service starts at 6pm and all families are welcome to join us. We would like to invite some children to do a bible reading at the service and also sing some special songs. If you feel you are able to attend, could you please comment on this post so we can give out the parts. Hope to see you there! Also a massive thank you to ‘The Friends of Adderley School’ for helping prepare the christingles!

Christmas Coffee Morning – Friday 1st December

It’s the Christmas Coffee Morning.

£1.50 gets you a festive coffee (minus the rum!!!), cake and a good chat.

It’s children friendly so bring your friends and the family. Go on, treat yourself.

Christmas is Coming

Visit the Events Tab on Adderley Parish where we’ve published the dates for Christingle and the Christmas carol service. More to follow when they become available. While you’re there see what else is on in the village during November and December.

New Year’s Eve Tickets On Sale!

OMG!!!! Tickets for the 2017 New Year’s Eve Party are on sale from the Village Hall Bar. £10 per person (£5 for children 5 to 16) including nibbles and free fizz at midnight plus disco.

Because of its increasing popularity tickets are limited in number and must be paid for on collection.

Soooo get down to the Village Hall and get yours.

Bowling Club Captain, Stephen Patterson

We have received the following notification from Adderley Bowling Club:

It is deep regret that have to announce the passing of our third team captain Steve Paterson. Steve died early Sunday morning 8th october in his sleep he will be sadly missed by all club members especially his tireless work in fielding his successful team. His funeral will be at Telford Crematorium on Monday morning 23rd October at 10_00am then returning to the Adderley Village Hall.
