Following the community update in March 2026, and very supportive comments for the redevelopment of the village halland bowling pavilion. The committee feel we are in a position to apply for full planning permission for the village hall element of the project. This will allow us to get more accurate costings and allow us to further investigate grant opportunities.
Moving ahead with planning application for the Village Hall is an important step as we look to enhance community facilities in the village.
In addition, we are still very keen to rebuild the bowling pavilion. Following feedback, we are looking at some amendments to the original design proposal. Once a new design has been completed, it will be presented for consultation before the separate planning application is made for the for the Pavillion.
Both buildings will form part of a single grant application to ensure we maximise funds available for the project.
