Sketch Show – From Here to Absurdity

A comedy sketch show is coming to Adderley Village Hall in February.  If satirical comedy is your thing you need to put the date in the diary  Saturday 24th February 7.00pm

Its a 90 minute show with about 30 sketches and songs written and assembled by Richard Kelly a politics lecturer at Manchester Grammar School.  The material focuses on the idiocies of modern life and involves 3 performers who take a range of characters.

If you are peckish the wonderful Mortzarella Pizzas will be on hand in the car park to provide so you won’t even have to cook tea.

Tickets £15 from Phil Gadd

Coffee Anyone?

Can you believe its over halfway through January already?   I know!  Well time may be flying by but that means its closer to the last Saturday in the month and Coffee morning in the village hall.

Yes, Saturday 27th January, 10.30am – 12 noon  Tea and Coffee, a very warm welcome, a chance to meet and chat and there is usually a very nice biscuit or a piece of cake too.

Have you got new neighbours who don’t know many folk yet?  Why not knock on their door and invite them them along too so that they can meet people and socialise.

Sunday Is Christmas Eve

Entrance to St Peter's Church

Sunday is Christmas Eve. Children young and old will be very excited. Why not join in the carol service at St Peter’s Adderley? This year the service begins at 10:30 and if previous years are anything to go by it’s worth taking an hour out of festive preparations to remember the true meaning of Christmas.

There is no evening service at Adderley this year so this is your chance to enjoy the Christmas story with family, friends and neighbours. See you there.
