A Nice Place To Be
Amazing coffee morning this Saturday. The hall was filled with lovely people and the buzz of conversation. Tea, coffee and cakes made by the volunteers were consumed and we sorted out the world.
What’s more people came and collected their Queen’s Canopy Fruit Trees, supplied by Adderley Parish Council, as well as stopping by for a bit of a chat; how nice is that?
Now we’re looking forwards to the next one with a bit of an early festive treat, we can’t wait and we hope we’ll see you there.
No, you are right, they don’t normally go together, but this Saturday they do!
Why? Well, if you’ve pre-ordered a fruit tree as part of the Queen’s Platinum Green Canopy you will have received an email to collect it from the Coffee Morning in the village hall tomorrow! See, you can make a link with almost anything if you try hard enough!
Scrumptious cakes, excellent tea and coffee, wonderful warm welcome and lots of interesting conversations to be had tomorrow. Oh, and a tree thrown in if you ordered one!
What’s not to like? See you 10.30 – 12 in the village hall then.
The fruit trees that have been sponsored by Adderley Parish Council as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy celebration have arrived.

Oh my! Just have a look at just a small selection of the huge variety of goodies you can drool and exclaim over from the very talented people who are exhibitors at our Craft Fayre. Christmas decorations, Art, Crafts, Cushions, Cards, Wreaths, Rag Dolls, Dogwear, Ceramics, Pottery, Jewellery and much more. If you cant’ find a present for that difficult member of the family here, there is no hope!
Is it in the diary? Have you told your friends? Have you invited family over for the day to join us? Don’t miss out, its going to be fab! And, a bonus is that you can have a coffee and a piece of cake. Or if you are a little more adventurous or need to bring an ‘other half’ who is not into shopping – the bar will be open! Yes! Its a win win for everyone.

It seems like an age but next Saturday, 29th October, there’s a Coffee Morning at the Village Hall. Come along to meet and greet. £2.00 gets you tea / coffee and cake plus a chance to catch up with what’s going on here and about.

The Shropshire Library Services mobile library calls at Adderley every other Friday. You can find it outside the old Post Office at the end of Rectory Lane, in the lay-by from 10:55 to 11:25.
Next call will be on Friday 28th November and every other week from then on.
