OMG!!!! Tickets for the 2017 New Year’s Eve Party are on sale from the Village Hall Bar. £10 per person (£5 for children 5 to 16) including nibbles and free fizz at midnight plus disco.
Because of its increasing popularity tickets are limited in number and must be paid for on collection.
Soooo get down to the Village Hall and get yours.
We have received the following notification from Adderley Bowling Club:
It is deep regret that have to announce the passing of our third team captain Steve Paterson. Steve died early Sunday morning 8th october in his sleep he will be sadly missed by all club members especially his tireless work in fielding his successful team. His funeral will be at Telford Crematorium on Monday morning 23rd October at 10_00am then returning to the Adderley Village Hall.
There is a vacancy on the Parish Council following the sudden and tragic death of Councillor Stephen Patterson.

You cannot fail to have noticed that the A529 has been identified as one of the top 50 most dangerous roads in the UK. This is no longer a matter of local opinion it is a matter of nationally recognised fact.
The Parish Council working group is undertaking a Traffic and Road Safety Questionnaire to help build the evidence base for holding discussions with the Local Authority about improvements to the road which cuts through the village.
If you haven’t already done so it is vital that you respond to this questionnaire. Instructions for responding are included in the attached document. Please answer the questions and let us know your views.
It’s the Macmillan “World’s Biggest Coffee Morning” this Friday. All the more reason to come to our regular coffee morning at the Village Hall 10:00 until 12:00.
While you’re at it there is also an Adderley School Coffee Morning from 9:00 until 10:00 so why not stay a while and chat before heading off down to the Village Hall where you can have coffee and cake for £1.50 and there will be a raffle and a chance to donate to the Macmillan nurses.
