VE Day – Cream Tea

It’s a beautiful day! why not spend part of this afternoon enjoying tea/coffee and a scone with friends at the village hall. There will be a glass of Prosecco for those who like to participate as well as memories from the Geoff Butter collection.

This is the last call so don’t miss this opportunity to reminisce and catch up with friends and neighbours. From 3:00 today at the village hall.

Oh and there is a representative there from an armed forces charity. The tea and scones are free but I’m sure they would appreciate your support.

Did you receive your village hall questionnaire?

We have just been informed that some people living people within the Adderley Parish may not have received their questionnaire.

Many were delivered by hand, but those that were posted were all taken to the Post Office at Loggerheads on 7th March where they were measured and weighed to ensure correct postage. Despite being double checked and assured that the postage was correct it now appears that some letters may not have arrived.

Even more annoying is that we have only just been made aware as the “short payment notification” was only issued on 26th March.

Needless to say, there will be a very interesting conversation with the Post Office tomorrow morning!

WHAT TO DO NEXT

If you, or somebody you know in the Adderley Parish, have not received a questionnaire please use the QR code below to access and complete. We will leave the survey open for a few days to allow this to happen.

We will try to resolve everything with the sorting office and post office tomorrow to ensure that a surcharge is not paid by the residents concerned.

We are very sorry about this, and apologise for the inconvenience, but can assure you that all steps were taken to ensure that the correct postage was paid.
