A Nice Place To Be
We are only a few days away now. Rumour has it that there will be a very nice ginger cake on offer plus a couple of other tasty offerings that you will have to wait until Saturday to see.
Look forward to seeing you 10.30 Saturday morning, for good conversation, coffee and a cake. Great way to set up your weekend.
Yes, the coffee morning will be on Saturday 30th November 10.30 – 12 noon in the village hall, with luscious cakes, good company and of course coffee! Please support as this month we have two of our younger residents, Vickey and Beth, hosting and baking and it will be lovely for them to have a full house.
So, see you there, please bring friends, relatives and new neighbours. Its a lovely friendly chatty event with lots of opportunities to meet and catch up with friends old and new. We will be popping posters up around the village and putting notices through doors to remind you but make a note in the diary now and we look forward to seeing you there.
A quick reminder that coffee morning is taking a brief sabbatical while the village hall is being used for the Halloween event on Saturday and Sunday. (You can book your time slots on AVH Facebook page).

If you didn’t manage to get out on Thursday night (it was quite cold) then here are a selection of images of the sky over Adderley. It’s not often we benefit from being in the dark but this was one of those occasions. What a sight!
Yes, this Friday 27th September at 3.15 – 5.30 in the village hall, Adderley School are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Event, with cakes, and a raffle.
Please try and support if you can, they would love to have as many people as possible from the village at the event.
We won’t be holding a coffee morning on 28th September for the very best reason. And that is because Adderley School are holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday afternoon, the 27th September 3.15pm – 5.30pm in the village hall and they would really appreciate your support if you can make it.
Its a particularly poignant gesture to support someone associated with the school who has had a recent diagnosis, and it would be wonderful if you could support. There will be cakes, raffle, good conversation and a chance to support this wonderful charity and our village school at the same time.
