This year’s Village Lunch is taking the opportunity to celebrate the Queen’s 90th Birthday. On Sunday 12th June the Village Lunch will be held at the Village Hall 12:00 for 12:30 start time.
Wanted! Mums and Tots Organiser.
The Adderley Mums and Tots has been running at the Village Hall for some time and it is highly valued in the village. The two marvellous Mums who run it have got to the point where their own tots are tots no more so it’s time to find two more Mums to be marvellous and take it over.
If we can’t find somebody to take it on this much loved facility will have to close and that would be a sad loss to the Village.

Hale Street Stompers
What a brilliant night was had by all at Adderley Village Hall on Saturday. The Hale Street Stompers did us proud and it was so nice to have live music. People loved it and it wasn’t long before they were on their feet and dancing to trad jazz greats. First Gallery of pics below thanks to Phil Gadd.

Adderley School Spring Fair
Adderley School will be holding a Spring Fair with a difference on May 15th at Adderley Village Hall from 12 30 – 3 pm. This year we will be having a Rentasaurus (https://rentasaurus.co.uk/) who needs the children to help him find his eggs. We will also have Horse and Cart rides, a professional Photo Booth, an animal corner, BBQ and a variety of stalls and games. To celebrate the Queen’s Birthday we are also holding a Birthday Cake Bake Off. To enter simply bring a cake along to be in with a chance of winning fantastic prize. It should be a great afternoon for all the family.
Why Not Come To The Coffee Bar?
‘COFFEE BAR’ will start next Friday 29th April 10-12am.
This will be a regular event held on the last Friday of every month. It will be held in the bar area of the Village Hall (hence the name) and any money raised will go towards supporting the Village Hall.
Spread the word to neighbours and acquaintances who they think will enjoy/benefit from meeting folk, making new friends and sharing thoughts and ideas. See you Friday!
Market Drayton Community Transport Co-ordinator
We need a volunteer working within the community to organise a transport system that meets the needs of all of us. Could that volunteer be you?
This will be a rewarding task – creating and supporting a new transport system to enable those without transport to travel to and from regional centres, as well as developing feeder connections with local villages.
