Shropshire Council is offering the opportunity for every household to have a new recycling bin for glass, cardboard and plastic waste to replace the old plastic boxes. Getting one i s easy just go to the website and register your address. We’ve tried it and it takes about 30 seconds with the option for an email update on the progress of your request.

A BIG thank you to everybody who helped to make last night’s visit by Santa and Mrs Claus such a big success. Santa has approved the decorations and is sure that Rudolf will be able to find Adderley this year.
There was lots of fun and Santa took away lots of requests (and that was just from the grown ups) . Now we’ll all have to be good and stay on the nice list.
It’s only a few weeks until the Pumpkin Trail – we know the little ones are excited. We need to know who’s coming because we want to make sure there are enough finger sausages and plenty of eyeball soup!

The most enormous thank you to everybody who took part in the Scarecrow Trail this year. The weather wasn’t always our friend but there were wonderful scarecrows and people who went to see had a lovely time. Here are some of the lovely comments that we received:
Even something as simple as a scarecrow trail can make a big difference to a lot of people so whether you made a scarecrow or whether you just went around and supported give yourselves a round of applause you are amazing.
