There’s talent in Adderley! Regulars at the Village Hall will know Chelsey who performed there recently together with Stewart. Well, tonight she was outside with a preview of her fire breathing performance – and what a performance! Check it out below and be amazed at the home grown talent in Adderley.
Meat Deliveries In Adderley – Starting 2nd April
Chris and Lois McDermott have been talking to Mr Shepley who has a butcher’s shop in Market Drayton. At this time, when shopping is becoming more difficult for some of us, he is happy to make deliveries in Adderley.
I have spoken with Mr Shepley again this afternoon and we have finalised arrangements for the delivery of meat and other products to Adderley residents.
There will be ONE delivery per week on Thursdays and orders must be placed on the Wednesday.
- Deliveries will start on THURSDAY next week (02/04/20)
- All orders must be EMAILED to loisandchris@googlemail.com between 8am and 10am on WEDNESDAYS (The reason for placing a collective order is so that Shepley’s are not inundated with individual phone calls or trying to match orders to answerphone messages.
- With your order please give your full name, address and telephone number and any specific instructions for delivery.
- Orders should be a minimum of approximately £20.
- Payment will be by mobile card machine, cheque or cash
- Do not feel obliged to place an order every wee.
Hopefully this will work but we will just have to try it and see. I will pass on any information about meat prices and products as and when I receive them. Please feel free to pass on this information to others who live in Adderley.

Important Message From Reverend Clarkson
Dear friends,
All of our Churchyards, and some of our Churches, will still be open daily for prayer and reflection, and we would encourage you to make use of them. We are also encouraging people to join us in praying wherever you are at 9am and 9pm each day.
I know that these are anxious times, but your church has been here to support you through plagues and famines, World Wars and Civil Wars and we will be here for you through this! Please be assured of our prayers for all our communities, and if there is anything (practical or spiritual) that we can help with please don’t hesitate to contact Rev’d Rich on (01630) 639576 or revrichclarkson@gmail.com.

Have You Spotted The Little Figure On The Right?
When you are using Adderley Parish website you may have noticed that there is a small icon of a little figure on the right hand side. If you scroll the page up and down the little figure always stays in view.
We’ve been working to make our website more accessible. If you click on the little figure it will open up some accessibility tools. You can increase the font size, change the contrast or even get a screen reader to read out the contents for you.
It’s not perfect yet but it’s a start and we are still busy behind the scenes trying to make it better. So if you’re struggling to access the website why not give it a go and see if it helps. Let us know what you think.
In the meantime we will continue to try and improve access to Adderley Parish.
