A Nice Place To Be

This is a lovely idea. Why not log on and watch Pentabus live recording of one of the dramas that they normally bring to rural village halls. The first one ‘Here I Belong’
Dear Friends, To celebrate World Theatre Day and to help you through these uncertain times, we are going to release recordings of our past shows on our website and social media channels. They can be streamed for free. These will remain live for the next three months and will be released weekly on a Friday at 2pm for anyone to access. The first production to be released will be Here I Belong by Matt Hartley on Friday 27 March, watch the trailer above and follow the link below to the live recording. Our other shows to follow include Crossings by Deirdre Kinahan and Each Slow Dusk by Rory Mullarkey. The recordings will be accompanied by social media Q & A’s with cast and creative teams from the productions, details of which will be announced via social media. We are extremely proud to have been the first company to live stream theatre directly from village halls into homes and community spaces across the world. |
Not sure how many people are still travelling but if you are then the following may be of relevance to you:

There’s talent in Adderley! Regulars at the Village Hall will know Chelsey who performed there recently together with Stewart. Well, tonight she was outside with a preview of her fire breathing performance – and what a performance! Check it out below and be amazed at the home grown talent in Adderley.
Chris and Lois McDermott have been talking to Mr Shepley who has a butcher’s shop in Market Drayton. At this time, when shopping is becoming more difficult for some of us, he is happy to make deliveries in Adderley.
I have spoken with Mr Shepley again this afternoon and we have finalised arrangements for the delivery of meat and other products to Adderley residents.
There will be ONE delivery per week on Thursdays and orders must be placed on the Wednesday.
Hopefully this will work but we will just have to try it and see. I will pass on any information about meat prices and products as and when I receive them. Please feel free to pass on this information to others who live in Adderley.

Street Lights – We will continue to monitor and report any street lighting faults. If you would like to report a faulty light please contact the Clerk as detailed above.
Dear friends,
All of our Churchyards, and some of our Churches, will still be open daily for prayer and reflection, and we would encourage you to make use of them. We are also encouraging people to join us in praying wherever you are at 9am and 9pm each day.
I know that these are anxious times, but your church has been here to support you through plagues and famines, World Wars and Civil Wars and we will be here for you through this! Please be assured of our prayers for all our communities, and if there is anything (practical or spiritual) that we can help with please don’t hesitate to contact Rev’d Rich on (01630) 639576 or revrichclarkson@gmail.com.
