As you all know we had hoped to have a Discovery Trail around the village over the August Bank Holiday, with a range of activities, interesting places to visit and people who were offering to showcase a hobby or an interest that others may enjoy.
Although the end of lockdown is a cause to celebrate it has also meant, quite rightly, that people want to visit friends or relatives or get away for a few days. It has also meant that some people are feeling a little more nervous about mixing socially, and so, after talking to those who had offered their time, we have decided to postpone the Discovery Trail until next year.
We have had some amazing offers of venues, time and skills and it really is the case that we have a lot to discover about our neighbourhood. There is a lot to be proud of and a lot to nurture and preserve in our lovely village and we can’t wait to share it with you all next year. We will keep you posted!
Adderley – a nice place to be.
