I just want to let you know about a new resource I’ve been putting together this week. I know that many of us are missing gathering together to worship each week, I’m certainly missing you all! I’ve been wrestling with whether to start streaming services online, but given the demographics of our congregations I’m still not sure that’s really the best way forward – there are several churches in the area doing that really well so if that is something you’d like then let me know and I can point you in the right direction.
What I have decided to do instead is to set up a new telephone number which you can phone at any time in the week and hear a recording of a short service/reflection. At the moment I plan to put up a ‘Sunday Service’ each Sunday and then a short act of Compline/night prayer each Thursday. Once they are put on the system the recordings will stay there until they are replaced so you can phone at any time and hear the most recent recording. Hopefully this will be a helpful and accessible way of continuing to worship ‘Together at Home’.

If you have the capability to record yourself speaking and would be happy to contribute the odd bible reading/prayer from time to time then please do let me know. Likewise, if you have any suggestions about other things we could be doing during this time then get in touch.
