Yes, its getting exciting, its less than 3 weeks until Easter, and the Painted Stone Hunt! Thank you so much to all the lovely people who have offered to paint a stone for the hunt. We have started to get some of the completed stones back and Wow, they really do look fantastic. We have some very talented adults and children in the village.
We have put some photographs of some of the completed stones on the website, and its so nice to have some of our new residents taking part. Thank you to Adam and Vicky, Ed and Gemma and Stefan and Yasmin in particular for offering to take part when you are still trying to unpack and find everything! We are also very grateful to the staff at Adderley School who got in touch to say that they would like to support by asking the children to paint a stone. Finding 35 suitable stones was bit of a challenge but we are up for that and they’ve been delivered ready for painting too.
Don’t forget, we would like your completed stone back by 20th March so that we can begin the process of hiding them for the hunt which starts on Good Friday 2nd April and runs through until 11th April. Also remember that you need to download the What3Words App onto your phone to answer the clue on location of each stone.
