The nights are drawing in and the days are starting to get a little cooler. If you’re not in the garden or out and about can you spare an hour here and there to help with the Adderley Heritage Project?
We need people to help label the catalogue of documents which have now been digitised by Shropshire Archive and are ready to be uploaded onto the website. To make it possible for people to find information each item has to be catalogued with search terms and key words. This is the sort of thing you can do while having a cup of coffee, listening to the radio or watching TV.
All you need is a laptop (it’s not possible to do this on a tablet or phone) and, ideally, Google Chrome though it can be done on other browsers. We will provide training at the Village Hall one morning in September to get you started and there’s always somebody available if you need help. The documents offer a fascinating insight into Adderley’s history so the work is interesting as well.
Everything is offline so in the unlikely event that you make a mistake there’s nothing to worry about it can be put right and it’s only uploaded when it’s all finished. What’s not to like?
